* Fix: Allow org team names of length 255 in create team form (#31564)Tobias Balle-Petersen2024-07-101-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Gitea 1.22.1 was supposed to allow for team names of length 255 (up from 30) after the following PR was merged in: https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/pull/31410. However, the length of team names was still limited to 30 as described in this issue: https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/issues/31554. One more change to _gitea_ needs to be made to allow for the longer team names, as there is a 30 character limit here: https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/blob/2c92c7c5226e29636a1d47a277130f477fa2037b/services/forms/org.go#L65 This PR changes that value to 255.
* Allow force push to protected branches (#28086)Henry Goodman2024-07-051-0/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Fixes #22722 ### Problem Currently, it is not possible to force push to a branch with branch protection rules in place. There are often times where this is necessary (CI workflows/administrative tasks etc). The current workaround is to rename/remove the branch protection, perform the force push, and then reinstate the protections. ### Solution Provide an additional section in the branch protection rules to allow users to specify which users with push access can also force push to the branch. The default value of the rule will be set to `Disabled`, and the UI is intuitive and very similar to the `Push` section. It is worth noting in this implementation that allowing force push does not override regular push access, and both will need to be enabled for a user to force push. This applies to manual force push to a remote, and also in Gitea UI updating a PR by rebase (which requires force push) This modifies the `BranchProtection` API structs to add: - `enable_force_push bool` - `enable_force_push_whitelist bool` - `force_push_whitelist_usernames string[]` - `force_push_whitelist_teams string[]` - `force_push_whitelist_deploy_keys bool` ### Updated Branch Protection UI: <img width="943" alt="image" src="https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/assets/79623665/7491899c-d816-45d5-be84-8512abd156bf"> ### Pull Request `Update branch by Rebase` option enabled with source branch `test` being a protected branch: ![image](https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/assets/79623665/e018e6e9-b7b2-4bd3-808e-4947d7da35cc) <img width="1038" alt="image" src="https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/assets/79623665/57ead13e-9006-459f-b83c-7079e6f4c654"> --------- Co-authored-by: wxiaoguang <wxiaoguang@gmail.com>
* Rename project board -> column to make the UI less confusing (#30170)Lunny Xiao2024-05-272-45/+7
| | | | | | | | | | | | | This PR split the `Board` into two parts. One is the struct has been renamed to `Column` and the second we have a `Template Type`. But to make it easier to review, this PR will not change the database schemas, they are just renames. The database schema changes could be in future PRs. --------- Co-authored-by: silverwind <me@silverwind.io> Co-authored-by: yp05327 <576951401@qq.com>
* Return `access_denied` error when an OAuth2 request is denied (#30974)Zettat1232024-05-201-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | According to [RFC 6749](https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/rfc6749#section-4.1.2.1), when the resource owner or authorization server denied an request, an `access_denied` error should be returned. But currently in this case Gitea does not return any error. For example, if the user clicks "Cancel" here, an `access_denied` error should be returned. <img width="360px" src="https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/assets/15528715/be31c09b-4c0a-4701-b7a4-f54b8fe3a6c5" />

* Remove trust model selection from repository creation on web page because it ↵Lunny Xiao2024-01-161-8/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | can be changed in settings later (#28814) As more and more options can be set for creating the repository, I don't think we should put all of them into the creation web page which will make things look complicated and confusing. And I think we need some rules about how to decide which should/should not be put in creating a repository page. One rule I can imagine is if this option can be changed later and it's not a MUST on the creation, then it can be removed on the page. So I found trust model is the first one. This PR removed the trust model selections on creating a repository web page and kept others as before. This is also a preparation for #23894 which will add a choice about SHA1 or SHA256 that cannot be changed once the repository created.
* Add branch protection setting for ignoring stale approvals (#28498)Jimmy Praet2024-01-151-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Fixes #27114. * In Gitea 1.12 (#9532), a "dismiss stale approvals" branch protection setting was introduced, for ignoring stale reviews when verifying the approval count of a pull request. * In Gitea 1.14 (#12674), the "dismiss review" feature was added. * This caused confusion with users (#25858), as "dismiss" now means 2 different things. * In Gitea 1.20 (#25882), the behavior of the "dismiss stale approvals" branch protection was modified to actually dismiss the stale review. For some users this new behavior of dismissing the stale reviews is not desirable. So this PR reintroduces the old behavior as a new "ignore stale approvals" branch protection setting. --------- Co-authored-by: delvh <dev.lh@web.de>

| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | close #24540 related: - Protocol: https://gitea.com/gitea/actions-proto-def/pulls/9 - Runner side: https://gitea.com/gitea/act_runner/pulls/201 changes: - Add column of `labels` to table `action_runner`, and combine the value of `agent_labels` and `custom_labels` column to `labels` column. - Store `labels` when registering `act_runner`. - Update `labels` when `act_runner` starting and calling `Declare`. - Users cannot modify the `custom labels` in edit page any more. other changes: - Store `version` when registering `act_runner`. - If runner is latest version, parse version from `Declare`. But older version runner still parse version from request header.
* Add ability to set multiple redirect URIs in OAuth application UI (#25072)Denys Konovalov2023-06-051-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | OAuth applications can already have multiple redirect URIs if created/edited over API. This change allows for setting multiple redirect URIs through the UI as a comma-separated list (e. g. `https://example.org/redirect,https://redirect.example.org`) <details> <summary>Screenshots</summary> ![Bildschirmfoto vom 2023-06-04 17-14-40](https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/assets/47871822/2206dc32-e7e4-4953-9ecb-e098890b3f54) ![Bildschirmfoto vom 2023-06-04 17-14-50](https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/assets/47871822/cd97c73c-9310-44ee-a83a-b927a1ef94da) </details> Closes #25068
* Redesign Scoped Access Tokens (#24767)Jack Hay2023-06-041-4/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | ## Changes - Adds the following high level access scopes, each with `read` and `write` levels: - `activitypub` - `admin` (hidden if user is not a site admin) - `misc` - `notification` - `organization` - `package` - `issue` - `repository` - `user` - Adds new middleware function `tokenRequiresScopes()` in addition to `reqToken()` - `tokenRequiresScopes()` is used for each high-level api section - _if_ a scoped token is present, checks that the required scope is included based on the section and HTTP method - `reqToken()` is used for individual routes - checks that required authentication is present (but does not check scope levels as this will already have been handled by `tokenRequiresScopes()` - Adds migration to convert old scoped access tokens to the new set of scopes - Updates the user interface for scope selection ### User interface example <img width="903" alt="Screen Shot 2023-05-31 at 1 56 55 PM" src="https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/assets/23248839/654766ec-2143-4f59-9037-3b51600e32f3"> <img width="917" alt="Screen Shot 2023-05-31 at 1 56 43 PM" src="https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/assets/23248839/1ad64081-012c-4a73-b393-66b30352654c"> ## tokenRequiresScopes Design Decision - `tokenRequiresScopes()` was added to more reliably cover api routes. For an incoming request, this function uses the given scope category (say `AccessTokenScopeCategoryOrganization`) and the HTTP method (say `DELETE`) and verifies that any scoped tokens in use include `delete:organization`. - `reqToken()` is used to enforce auth for individual routes that require it. If a scoped token is not present for a request, `tokenRequiresScopes()` will not return an error ## TODO - [x] Alphabetize scope categories - [x] Change 'public repos only' to a radio button (private vs public). Also expand this to organizations - [X] Disable token creation if no scopes selected. Alternatively, show warning - [x] `reqToken()` is missing from many `POST/DELETE` routes in the api. `tokenRequiresScopes()` only checks that a given token has the correct scope, `reqToken()` must be used to check that a token (or some other auth) is present. - _This should be addressed in this PR_ - [x] The migration should be reviewed very carefully in order to minimize access changes to existing user tokens. - _This should be addressed in this PR_ - [x] Link to api to swagger documentation, clarify what read/write/delete levels correspond to - [x] Review cases where more than one scope is needed as this directly deviates from the api definition. - _This should be addressed in this PR_ - For example: ```go m.Group("/users/{username}/orgs", func() { m.Get("", reqToken(), org.ListUserOrgs) m.Get("/{org}/permissions", reqToken(), org.GetUserOrgsPermissions) }, tokenRequiresScopes(auth_model.AccessTokenScopeCategoryUser, auth_model.AccessTokenScopeCategoryOrganization), context_service.UserAssignmentAPI()) ``` ## Future improvements - [ ] Add required scopes to swagger documentation - [ ] Redesign `reqToken()` to be opt-out rather than opt-in - [ ] Subdivide scopes like `repository` - [ ] Once a token is created, if it has no scopes, we should display text instead of an empty bullet point - [ ] If the 'public repos only' option is selected, should read categories be selected by default Closes #24501 Closes #24799 Co-authored-by: Jonathan Tran <jon@allspice.io> Co-authored-by: Kyle D <kdumontnu@gmail.com> Co-authored-by: silverwind <me@silverwind.io>
* New webhook trigger for receiving Pull Request review requests (#24481)谈笑风生间2023-05-241-24/+25
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | close https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/issues/16321 Provided a webhook trigger for requesting someone to review the Pull Request. Some modifications have been made to the returned `PullRequestPayload` based on the GitHub webhook settings, including: - add a description of the current reviewer object as `RequestedReviewer` . - setting the action to either **review_requested** or **review_request_removed** based on the operation. - adding the `RequestedReviewers` field to the issues_model.PullRequest. This field will be loaded into the PullRequest through `LoadRequestedReviewers()` when `ToAPIPullRequest` is called. After the Pull Request is merged, I will supplement the relevant documentation.
* Add CRAN package registry (#22331)KN4CK3R2023-05-221-1/+1

* Support wildcard in email domain allow/block list (#24831)wxiaoguang2023-05-222-23/+43
| | | | | | | | | | | | Replace #20257 (which is stale and incomplete) Close #20255 Major changes: * Deprecate the "WHITELIST", use "ALLOWLIST" * Add wildcard support for EMAIL_DOMAIN_ALLOWLIST/EMAIL_DOMAIN_BLOCKLIST * Update example config file and document * Improve tests
* Decouple the different contexts from each other (#24786)wxiaoguang2023-05-2110-75/+75
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Replace #16455 Close #21803 Mixing different Gitea contexts together causes some problems: 1. Unable to respond proper content when error occurs, eg: Web should respond HTML while API should respond JSON 2. Unclear dependency, eg: it's unclear when Context is used in APIContext, which fields should be initialized, which methods are necessary. To make things clear, this PR introduces a Base context, it only provides basic Req/Resp/Data features. This PR mainly moves code. There are still many legacy problems and TODOs in code, leave unrelated changes to future PRs.
* Support for status check pattern (#24633)Zettat1232023-05-171-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This PR is to allow users to specify status checks by patterns. Users can enter patterns in the "Status Check Pattern" `textarea` to match status checks and each line specifies a pattern. If "Status Check" is enabled, patterns cannot be empty and user must enter at least one pattern. Users will no longer be able to choose status checks from the table. But a __*`Matched`*__ mark will be added to the matched checks to help users enter patterns. Benefits: - Even if no status checks have been completed, users can specify necessary status checks in advance. - More flexible. Users can specify a series of status checks by one pattern.
