FastIgnoreRule: include bad pattern in log message
When a .gitignore pattern cannot be parsed include the pattern in the
log message. Just reporting "not closed bracket" isn't helpful if the
user doesn't know in which pattern the problem occurred.
Even better would be to include the full path of the .gitignore file
that contained the offending pattern. This is not implemented in this
change; it may need new API and needs more thought.

Reorder modifiers to follow Java Language Specification
The Java Language Specification recommends listing modifiers in
the following order:
1. Annotations
2. public
3. protected
4. private
5. abstract
6. static
7. final
8. transient
9. volatile
10. synchronized
11. native
12. strictfp
Not following this convention has no technical impact, but will reduce
the code's readability because most developers are used to the standard
order.

Fix path pattern matching to work also for gitattributes
Path pattern matching for attribute rules is different than matching
for excluded files.
The first difference concerns patterns without slashes. For
gitattributes those must match on the last component only, not on
any earlier segment. This is true also for directory-only patterns.
The second difference concerns directory-only patterns. Those also
must not match on a prefix or segment except the last one. They do
not apply recursively to all files beneath.
And third, matches only on a prefix must match for gitattributes
only if the last matcher was "/**".
Add a new parameter for such path matching to IMatcher.matches() and
pass it through as appropriate (false for gitignore, true for
gitattributes). As far as gitignore is concerned, there is no change.
New tests have been added, and some existing attribute matching tests
have been fixed since they operated on wrong assumptions.

Catch unexpected PatternSyntaxException and convert it to
InvalidPatternException. Log such errors, do not silently ignore them.

Allow leading literal '#' and '!' in ignore rules if they are escaped
According to [1] backslash can escape leading special characters '#' and
'!' in ignore rules, so that they are treated literally.

Core classes to parse and process .gitattributes files including
support for reading attributes in WorkingTreeIterator and the
dirCacheIterator.
The implementation follows the git ignore implementation. It supports
lazy reading attributes while walking the working tree.

The current IgnoreRule/FileNameMatcher implementation scales not well
with huge repositories - it is both slow and memory expensive while
parsing glob expressions (bug 440732). Addtitionally, the "double star"
pattern (/**/) is not understood by the old parser (bug 416348).
The proposed implementation is a complete clean room rewrite of the
gitignore parser, aiming to add missing double star pattern support and
improve the performance and memory consumption.
The glob expressions from .gitignore rules are converted to Java regular
expressions (java.util.regex.Pattern). java.util.regex.Pattern code can
evaluate expression from gitignore rules considerable faster (and with
less memory consumption) as the old FileNameMatcher implementation.
