Make JGit test work with both hamcrest 1.1 (juno) and 1.3 (kepler)
The hamcrest library has moved things around. This problem applies only
to the test, not plugin runtime.

For streams that should not be closed, i.e. don't own an underlying
stream, and in-memory streams that do not need to be closed we just
suppress the warning. This mostly apply to test cases. GC is enough.
For streams with external resources (i.e. files) we add the necessary
call to close().

An example where this is necessary is when a whole directory was deleted
and checkout is used to restore a file which was in that directory.

Git API does not declare GitAPIException call() and related cleanups
All commands should throw a GitAPIException so new exceptions can be
added without breaking the builds of old code, i.e. anyone that calls
a Git API should catch GitAPIException and not just the currently known
exceptions.
Now the only checked exceptions on Git API calls are GitException and
subclasses of it. New checked exceptions that are subclasses of
GitException may be added without breaking the API.
Javadoc for GitAPIException is declared on GitCommand and
inherited to subclasses. JGitInternalException is not explicitly
documented anymore.
Unfortunately this change itself breaks the API. The intention is
that it shall be possible to add new checked subclasses of
GitAPIException without breaking the API.

Overload DirCache.lock to take a repository that is
used for updating smudged index entries with information
from the repository's working tree.
New unit tests are also added for updating smudged index
entries on reset, checkout, and commit.

Checkout command should throw o.e.j.api.errors.CheckoutConflictException
which is a GitAPIException not o.e.j.errors.CheckoutConflictException.
PullCommand should rethrow the API exception as a JGitInternalException.

Most unexpected exceptions are completely useless yielding message
like "null" or "3" or in the best cases something reasonable, but
still out of context.
Just declare the test as throwing an exception. That will retain
the full stack trace leading to the point of failure without using
a debugger or changing the code.

Detaching HEAD didn't work in some corner checkout cases. If, for example,
HEAD is symbolic ref to refs/heads/master, refs/heads/master is ref to commit
c0ffee... then:
checkout c0ffee...
would leave the HEAD unchanged.
The same symptom occurs when checking out a remote tracking branch or a tag
that references the same commit as refs/heads/master.
In the above case, the RefUpdate class didn't have enough information to decide
if the update needed to detach symbolic ref because it dealt only with new/old
objectIDs. Therefore, this fix introduced the RefUpdate.detachingSymbolicRef
flag.

state of another test repository.

Eclipse has some problem re-running single JUnit tests if
the tests are in Junit 3 format, but the JUnit 4 launcher
is used. This was quite unnecessary and the move was not
completed. We still have no JUnit4 test.
This completes the extermination of JUnit3. Most of the
work was global searce/replace using regular expression,
followed by numerous invocarions of quick-fix and organize
imports and verification that we had the same number of
tests before and after.
- Annotations were introduced.
- All references to JUnit3 classes removed
- Half-good replacement for getting the test name. This was
needed to make the TestRngs work. The initialization of
TestRngs was also made lazily since we can not longer find
out the test name in runtime in the @Before methods.
- Renamed test classes to end with Test, with the exception
of TestTranslateBundle, which fails from Maven
- Moved JGitTestUtil to the junit support bundle

Checkout: fix handling if name does not refer to a local branch
The CheckoutCommand does not handle names other than local branch
names properly; it must detach HEAD if such a name is encountered (for
example a commit ID or a remote tracking branch).

This is needed by callers to determine checkout conflicts and
possible files that were not deleted during the checkout so that they
can present the end user with a better Exception description and retry
to delete the undeleted files later, respectively.

This is a simple HTTP server that provides the minimum server side
support required for dumb (non-git aware) transport clients.
We produce the info/refs and objects/info/packs file on the fly
from the local repository state, but otherwise serve data as raw
files from the on-disk structure.
In the future we could better optimize the FileSender class and the
servlets that use it to take advantage of direct file to network
APIs in more advanced servlet containers like Jetty.
Our glue package borrows the idea of a micro embedded DSL from
Google Guice and uses it to configure a collection of Filters
and HttpServlets, all of which are matched against requests using
regular expressions. If a subgroup exists in the pattern, it is
extracted and used for the path info component of the request.
