* Move issue pin to an standalone table for querying performance (#33452)Lunny Xiao2025-02-171-7/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Noticed a SQL in gitea.com has a bigger load. It seems both `is_pull` and `pin_order` are not indexed columns in the database. ```SQL SELECT `id`, `repo_id`, `index`, `poster_id`, `original_author`, `original_author_id`, `name`, `content`, `content_version`, `milestone_id`, `priority`, `is_closed`, `is_pull`, `num_comments`, `ref`, `pin_order`, `deadline_unix`, `created_unix`, `updated_unix`, `closed_unix`, `is_locked`, `time_estimate` FROM `issue` WHERE (repo_id =?) AND (is_pull = 0) AND (pin_order > 0) ORDER BY pin_order ``` I came across a comment https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/pull/24406#issuecomment-1527747296 from @delvh , which presents a more reasonable approach. Based on this, this PR will migrate all issue and pull request pin data from the `issue` table to the `issue_pin` table. This change benefits larger Gitea instances by improving scalability and performance. --------- Co-authored-by: wxiaoguang <wxiaoguang@gmail.com>
* Move commits signature and verify functions to service layers (#33605)Lunny Xiao2025-02-161-0/+40

* Rework suggestion backend (#33538)Lunny Xiao2025-02-102-0/+130
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Fix #33522 The suggestion backend logic now is - If the keyword is empty, returned the latest 5 issues/prs with index desc order - If the keyword is digital, find all issues/prs which `index` has a prefix with that, with index asc order - If the keyword is non-digital or if the queried records less than 5, searching issues/prs title with a `like`, with index desc order ## Empty keyword <img width="310" alt="image" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/1912c634-0d98-4eeb-8542-d54240901f77" /> ## Digital <img width="479" alt="image" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/0356a936-7110-4a24-b21e-7400201bf9b8" /> ## Digital and title contains the digital <img width="363" alt="image" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/6e12f908-28fe-48de-8ccc-09cbeab024d4" /> ## non-Digital <img width="435" alt="image" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/2722bb53-baa2-4d67-a224-522a65f73856" /> <img width="477" alt="image" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/06708dd9-80d1-4a88-b32b-d29072dd1ba6" /> --------- Co-authored-by: wxiaoguang <wxiaoguang@gmail.com>

* Update misspell to 0.5.1 and add `misspellings.csv` (#30573)silverwind2024-04-273-13/+13
| | | | | | Misspell 0.5.0 supports passing a csv file to extend the list of misspellings, so I added some common ones from the codebase. There is at least one typo in a API response so we need to decided whether to revert that and then likely remove the dict entry.

* Refactor issue template parsing and fix API endpoint (#29069)wxiaoguang2024-02-121-14/+16
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The old code `GetTemplatesFromDefaultBranch(...) ([]*api.IssueTemplate, map[string]error)` doesn't really follow Golang's habits, then the second returned value might be misused. For example, the API function `GetIssueTemplates` incorrectly checked the second returned value and always responds 500 error. This PR refactors GetTemplatesFromDefaultBranch to ParseTemplatesFromDefaultBranch and clarifies its behavior, and fixes the API endpoint bug, and adds some tests. And by the way, add proper prefix `X-` for the header generated in `checkDeprecatedAuthMethods`, because non-standard HTTP headers should have `X-` prefix, and it is also consistent with the new code in `GetIssueTemplates`
* Remove deadcode under models/issues (#28536)Nanguan Lin2023-12-191-1/+5
| | | | | | | Using the Go Official tool `golang.org/x/tools/cmd/deadcode@latest` mentioned by [go blog](https://go.dev/blog/deadcode). Just use `deadcode .` in the project root folder and it gives a list of unused functions. Though it has some false alarms. This PR removes dead code detected in `models/issues`.

* Fix Bug in Issue Config when only contact links are set (#26521)JakobDev2023-09-281-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | Blank Issues should be enabled if they are not explicit disabled through the `blank_issues_enabled` field of the Issue Config. The Implementation has currently a Bug: If you create a Issue Config file with only `contact_links` and without a `blank_issues_enabled` field, `blank_issues_enabled` is set to false by default. The fix is only one line, but I decided to also improve the tests to make sure there are no other problems with the Implementation. This is a bugfix, so it should be backported to 1.20.

| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | (#27052) Currently 'userxx' and 'orgxx' are both used as username in test files when the user type is org, which is confusing. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | (#24634) This PR replaces all string refName as a type `git.RefName` to make the code more maintainable. Fix #15367 Replaces #23070 It also fixed a bug that tags are not sync because `git remote --prune origin` will not remove local tags if remote removed. We in fact should use `git fetch --prune --tags origin` but not `git remote update origin` to do the sync. Some answer from ChatGPT as ref. > If the git fetch --prune --tags command is not working as expected, there could be a few reasons why. Here are a few things to check: > >Make sure that you have the latest version of Git installed on your system. You can check the version by running git --version in your terminal. If the value is set to 0, the Issue is not pinned. If it's set to a bigger value, the value is the Position. 1 means it's the first pinned Issue, 2 means it's the second one etc. This is dived into Issues and Pull requests for each Repo. ## TODO - [x] You can currently pin as many Issues as you want. The bug is: 1. The old code doesn't handle `removedfile` event correctly 2. The old code doesn't provide attachments for type=CommentTypeReview This PR doesn't intend to refactor the "upload" code to a perfect state (to avoid making the review difficult), so some legacy styles are kept. --------- Co-authored-by: silverwind <me@silverwind.io> Co-authored-by: Giteabot <teabot@gitea.io>
