Several keyboard modifiers are adjusted per https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/tigervnc-users/Ixn62_ZsRGI:

...we swap some modifiers around because of the way Alt works on that platforms. We do the following translation

  • CmdL => AltL
  • CmdR => SuperL ("win" key)
  • AltL => ModeSwitch (alternative AltGr)
  • AltR => Level3Shift (AltGr)
